Joseph Morelle, a U.S. Congressman representing New York's 25th district, has expressed concerns and legislative initiatives through recent social media posts. Serving since 2018 after succeeding Louise Slaughter, Morelle continues to engage in political discourse and policy-making.

On March 24, 2025, Morelle criticized the handling of classified military plans by President Trump's team. He stated that "The discussion of classified military plans on a private texting app is unacceptable. President Trump’s team continues to display incompetence at the highest level. The following day, March 25, 2025, Morelle highlighted his commitment to legislation aimed at supporting caregivers.
