Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Shear Ego International School of Hair Design

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Shear Ego International School of Hair Design, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $13,740 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 17 students received grants or scholarships totaling $85,441 and 25 students took out student loans totaling more than $190,059.

Including all undergraduates (112), 83 students used grants or scholarships totaling $357,927, and 87 students took out $627,345 in federal student loans.
