On January 26, 2025, Morelle expressed concern over the security of Social Security benefits for Americans. He stated, "Over 71 million Americans received Social Security benefits in 2023—including thousands of Rochester's seniors. They worked hard to earn those benefits, and they don't deserve to have the rug being pulled out from under them. I'm fighting to #ProtectSocialSecurity."
Later that day, Morelle showed support for his local football team with a brief message: "Do you Billieve? Let's #GoBills!"
On January 27, 2025, Morelle marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day by commemorating the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. He remarked on this significant anniversary with the statement: "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day—and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz—we honor the memory of the millions lost and reflect on one of humanity's darkest chapters. We must stand against anti-Semitism, hatred, and injustice. Never again."
