Joe Morelle, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 25th district, recently shared several statements on social media addressing community partnerships, gun violence reforms, and local traditions. Morelle has been serving in Congress since 2018 after succeeding Louise Slaughter.

On November 22, 2024, Morelle expressed gratitude towards Trillium Health's CEO Jason Barnecut-Kearns and his team for their dedication to the community. He stated: "I’m grateful to CEO Jason Barnecut-Kearns and the entire Trillium Health team for their continued commitment to uplifting our community. I look forward to our continued partnership." He also encouraged reading more about an award impacting the community.

Later that day, at 18:15 UTC, Morelle addressed issues of mass shootings and neighborhood violence by advocating for legislative changes. He tweeted: "Mass shootings and neighborhood violence steal far too many innocent lives—we cannot sit idle. In response, I'm fighting for common-sense reforms like universal background checks, red flag laws, regulations on military-grade weapons, and more to provide safety and security."

In another post on November 22 at 21:45 UTC, Morelle congratulated Genesee Brewery on its holiday tree lighting celebrations in Rochester. He wrote: "Congratulations to @GeneseeBrewery on a decade of holiday tree lighting celebrations—one of Rochester's well-loved traditions. I look forward to celebrating the holiday season across our community this year!"
