53 percent of applicants to SUNY College at Brockport were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY College at Brockport, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Brockport enrolled 8,287 students in fall 2018, including 7,057 in undergraduate and 1,230 in graduate programs, data shows. 13.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 1 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 53 percent of the 10,536 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
