Joseph Morelle, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 25th district, shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. On February 14 and 15, 2025, Morelle expressed sentiments related to Valentine's Day celebrations and concerns regarding national security.

On February 14, 2025, Morelle conveyed warm wishes for Valentine's Day by emphasizing the importance of acknowledging loved ones. He stated: "Happy Valentines Day! Today is an opportunity to let our loved ones know just how important they are, and I hope it's a day filled with love, laughter, and time spent with the special people in your life."

Later that day, he highlighted his participation in the "Valentines for Veterans" program. Morelle remarked: "One of my favorite events each year is the Valentines for Veterans program. It's a unique opportunity to express our gratitude to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our nation." He noted that his office delivered this year's collection of valentines to VOCROC for distribution.

On February 15, 2025, Morelle criticized actions taken by President Trump concerning national security personnel. He asserted: "President Trump was elected on the promise of keeping our neighborhoods safe. His actions are doing the exact opposite as he attempts to fire FBI agents with years of institutional knowledge." Morelle suggested that Trump's motivations were driven more by political vendettas than genuine concern for public safety.
