Assemblyman Josh Jensen successfully organized his third annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 28, at the Greece Ridge Mall. The event was held in collaboration with Rochester Regional Health and the University of Rochester Medical Center. It aimed to provide residents with access to health education, screenings, and community resources.

The fair attracted hundreds of attendees who benefited from free health services and resources. Various free health screenings were available, along with opportunities for consultations with healthcare professionals. Participants could also receive flu shots and learn about mental health, nutrition, fitness, and preventative care.

Jensen expressed satisfaction with the event's turnout: “I am beyond thrilled to see the growing turnout and engagement from our community each year at my Health and Wellness Fair,” he stated. “This event is about ensuring that our residents have the resources they need to live healthier lives. Access to quality health care and wellness education should be available to everyone, and this fair is a step toward making that a reality.”

He also emphasized the importance of addressing healthcare challenges: “As we continue to face the challenges of rising health care costs and access disparities, it is important to me to bring these resources directly to the people. Thank you to all the organizations in attendance that contributed to the success of this event. I am already looking forward to next year’s fair.”
