On December 7, 2024, Morelle commemorated the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack with a solemn message. He stated, "Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. We remember and mourn the servicemembers and civilians who tragically lost their lives during this attack on our country. We will never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice that day."
