Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,C-Batavia) organized his 4th Annual National Pizza Day Police Appreciation Program today. As part of this initiative, Hawley distributed pizza to law enforcement officers throughout his Assembly District. This gesture aligns with his continuous advocacy in Albany for policies that support and equip law enforcement personnel.

Hawley personally delivered pizza to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the New York State Police - Troop A Headquarters, and the Batavia Police Department. He expressed pride in showing support for local law enforcement and intends to continue hosting this event annually.

“Our law enforcement officers are our community’s first and last line of defense; they keep us safe and give us peace of mind,” said Hawley. “We can never be grateful enough for the hard work and dedication they have put into keeping us safe day in and day out. Events like this are just one way I can give back and show my appreciation for all they do for our community. Whether it’s in the Capitol in Albany or my hometown of Batavia, I will continue to do everything I can to support our men and women in blue.”
