He encouraged constituents to participate by sending valentines or homemade cards to his Rochester office by February 12. Later that day, Morelle expressed gratitude upon receiving an honorary black belt from the Korea Taekwondo Federation. Reflecting on this honor, he noted: "Grateful to receive an honorary black belt from the Korea Taekwondo Federation today.
