The first World Mental Health Day was observed on October 10th, 1992. It was created by the World Federation of Mental Health in hopes of advocating for the lack of proper treatment many patients with mental health issues receive.
Today as the world celebrates our 30th year observing this important day, we would like to thank everyone who has been a part of the fight to create awareness, educate and advocate for mental health.
