Happy National Dairy Month! June is National Dairy Month, but the Monroe County 4-H team likes to celebrate the wonderful world of dairy all year round! Students at Roberto Clemente School No. 8 had a blast last week learning the science behind making butter as part of our New York Agriculture in the Classroom Dairy Program. Foods in the Dairy Group provide nutrients such as calcium, potassium, and protein which are important for our bodies to function. Keep an eye out for more dairy fun with the 4-H team throughout June!
