WHEATLAND: Bids Solicited for Refuse & Recyclables Collection.

Wheatland issued the following announcement on Aug. 28

LEGAL NOTICE - TOWN OF WHEATLAND

COLLECTION OF REFUSE AND RECYCLABLES

The previous dates advertised for the acceptance and award of the refuse district bid have been postponed after an amendment has been made to the “Terms and Conditions for Bid Proposal and Agreement for Collection of Refuse and Recyclables”. Please see new dates and times below.

Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited for the collection of refuse and recyclables from the following Refuse Districts in the Town of Wheatland for the calendar years 2021-2022 (2-year bid) and 2021-2023 (3-year bid).

 Mumford Refuse District: 267 collection units

 Rolling Acres Refuse District: 68 collection units

 Fairview Road Refuse District 20 collection units

Sealed bids for each collection year will be received at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of Wheatland, 22 Main Street, Scottsville, New York. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24th, 2020 and shall be opened publicly on said date at a Special Meeting of the Town Board at 5:00 P.M. Bids will be awarded at the Special Meeting of the Town Board on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. 

A Statement of Terms and Conditions describing the terms of the bidding may be obtained at the Wheatland Town Office from the Town Clerk, 22 Main Street, Scottsville, NY, or by requesting a copy by notifying the Laurie Czapranski, Wheatland Town Clerk at townclerk@townofwheatland.org or by visiting the Town of Wheatland Website. 

The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed to be the most advantageous to the Town.
