Tom Reed for Congress issued the following announcement on April 30

Today, Rep. Tom Reed praised the IRS for its ongoing efforts to process and distribute millions of economic impact checks in a timely and efficient manner. Tom shares these updates regularly to ensure the most recent data points and projections are readily available to the public and members of the media.

April 30th, 2020 highlight:

• 120 million economic impact payments have been distributed to the American people (WSJ).  

“I’m thrilled to see more of the economic relief American families asked for has been distributed,” said Tom. “We will continue to collaborate with the IRS and other federal agencies overseeing the implementation of aid efforts because we care about the financial well-being of communities across the country.”
