It’s a great pleasure to have a bell choir like the Third Church Ringers, who have a long history of providing beautiful music. We need to add some new ringers to the group to continue that level of excellence.
You don’t have bell experience? No problem! We are planning a day for complete beginners and intermediate ringers in a no-commitment, fun-only setting.
You can choose from sessions like an intro/refresher on reading music, basic ringing techniques, playing your first bell piece, playing the big bass bells, playing two little bells in the same hand, or even “weaving” multiple bells together seamlessly. After lunch there will be two options to ring for fun, choosing either easier or slightly harder music.
Teachers include Jean Coniber, Jackie Anderson, Chris Lenti, Janice Peters, Jeremy Peters and more! Lunch and classes will be free, though a donation to cover expenses will be appreciated.
