On Friday, March 28, former Penfield High School standout Gage Wheaton’s current college team, the Niagara Purple Eagles, won 12-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

The game took place at John P. Bobo Field. This was their first matchup against the Peacocks this season.

The Purple Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2:20 p.m. at John P. Bobo Field against Saint Peter’s Peacocks.
