Of the 5,294 students attending Orleans County schools, 79.8% were white. Hispanic represented the second-largest ethnic group, making up 9.4% of Orleans County students.
In the previous school year, white was also the most common student ethnicity in Orleans County, representing 81.8% of the student body.
Charles D’amico High School, Medina Junior-Senior High School, and Ronald L. Sodoma Elementary School had the most diverse student body in Orleans County, with white, Black, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific Islander, American Indian or Alaska Native, and multiracial.
In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped to 2% when compared to the previous year.
