On Saturday, March 22, former Penfield High School standout Lena Lipani’s current collegiate team the Smith Pioneers lost 77-49 against the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Cregger Center, this was the first game against the NYU Violets during the championship.

Lena Lipani’s hometown is Penfield and game position is forward.
