Joseph Morelle has served in Congress since replacing Louise Slaughter in 2018. Prior to this role, he was part of the New York State Assembly from 1991 until his congressional appointment. Born in Utica, New York, in 1957, Morelle now resides in Irondequoit and holds a BA from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
