Joe Morelle, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 25th district since 2018, posted a series of tweets on January 9, 2026, calling for action to protect public health and the wellbeing of children.
In his first tweet at 01:35 UTC, Morelle stated, “Renee Nicole Good should be alive today.”
Later that day at 16:10 UTC, he emphasized the importance of vaccinations and following scientific guidance. He wrote, “We need to listen to science and respect the long-standing decisions of public health experts.
When vaccination rates fall, we’re all at risk, and our most vulnerable rely on those around them to be vaccinated.
