On April 9, 2025, Morelle announced an upcoming event, inviting his constituents to “Join me tomorrow, April 10th at 5:30 PM for a Virtual Town Hall with @DemocracyFwd”. Morelle encouraged participation by stating, “Share your thoughts, ask questions, and learn about what I’m doing to fight back”. Registration for this town hall event is highlighted as having limited space.

Later, on the same day, Morelle shared his concern over actions taken during the first day of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. He noted in a tweet, “On the first day of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Trump Administration fired @HHSGov employees responsible for sexual violence prevention.” Expressing dissatisfaction, he concluded, “Survivors deserve better.”

In another tweet on April 9, 2025, Morelle reiterated his commitment to the labor movement. He expressed solidarity with unions, stating, “Always proud to stand alongside our unions in the fight to secure better wages, working conditions, and benefits for working families.” He extended the message of gratitude towards @IUPATDC4WNYCNY, who joined him in Washington D.C., marking the significance of collective efforts.
