Joe Morelle, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 25th district, expressed his views on various subjects in a series of tweets. The tweets covered political critique, an art competition announcement, and a holiday greeting.

On March 29, 2025, Morelle took to social media to express his concerns about the policies of President Trump. In his post, he questioned the president’s priorities, stating, “He’s gone after health care, Social Security, and now public schools. What won’t President Trump sacrifice to make room for tax cuts for his billionaire buddies?”

On March 30, 2025, Morelle shifted focus to community engagement by announcing the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. In his message, he declared, “We are now accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition! This year’s theme is: ‘Why I Love Rochester.’ The winning piece will be showcased in the United States Capitol for the next year, representing the artistic talents of our community.”

In a later post on the same day, Morelle shared a greeting related to the Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr. He wrote, “Wishing a joyful Eid al-Fitr to all who are celebrating! May this special day bring peace, happiness, and blessings after the holy month of Ramadan.”
